I'm trying to put two CBS350-48P-4X into a stack.
I'm using a 10GBASE-CU SFP+ 1m stacking cable, but wondered about the topology when only using two switches.
Can I arrange them in a ring so that in the event of a failure of one cable, the other cable continues to work?
Would having two cables increase the stacking capacity?
I've got the stack working with one cable, but adding a second doesn't seem to be picked up by the interface.
Many thanks

Never used the 350 series before but according to the documentation:
The switch can only be stacked without Mesh topology. The switches in the same stack are connected together through their stack ports. Depending on the type of stack ports and the desired speed, you may need Cat6a Ethernet cables or Cisco approved modules or cables for the switches.

Whilst I understand they don't support mesh topology, I still don't understand if they would support ring topology, and in my scenario of only having two switches in the stack. It's really just understanding if we have redundancy in the event of one stacking cable failing, can we have a second one in place to make the ring.

Hello
I would say you need to close the stack-ring to obtain full backplane speed, just would do on other stackable switches
