According to SBA guide, If there are three or more switches in the stack, the uplinks should be on switches that are not stack master.

is there any particular reason .. the uplink should not be in stack master?

If the uplinks are on the stack master and the stack master should fail, what's going to happen to the switches downwind?

It means don't put all of your uplinks into one switch.  Spread `em around.

Hi,

yes you can configure a port-channel if you are connecting the switch stack and other switch with multiple links, instead of spannig-tree blocking all ports expect one, it would be a good idea to use port-channel where we use all the bandwidth.

When configuring a port-channel across cross stack we cannot not use "PagP" protocol and it would be good to use "stack-mac persistent" command if you are using LACP protocol.
