I currently have one C9200-48P-E that is on the first floor of the building. I plan to get another one that will be on the second floor of the building. What is the best option to stack these switches and manage them from one SVI. The current IOS on the switch is Amsterdam 17.3.7.

Hello,

Take a close look on the switch datasheet

https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/products/collateral/switches/catalyst-9200-series-switches/nb-06-cat9200-ser-data-sheet-cte-en.html

But for stacking I dont see too much to worry about. Once you put them in stack you are going to have "Logically" on switch. Then just create the interface vlan. You can do this:

vlan 10

name mgmt

int vlan 10

ip add 192.168.1.2 255.255.255.0 (example)

ip default-gateway "your gatewa"

Add vlan 10 to the uplink port or channel
