Stacking over Ethernet

Hello everyone,

last year,around the end of summer I remember I saw a bulletin somewhere with a new feature being announced: stacking over Ethernet ports.

I was working at a customer and I remembered that feature and was wondering if the feature is out now, and if yes, on what switch platforms and how do you configure it?

This was a Cisco bulletin ?

Haven't seen anything like that yet on newer switches , we run latest code and have a varation of platforms throughout the globe , 2ks, 3ks,4ks etc right through most enterprise versions and dc switches too

I know certain Dell switches can stack over Ethernet , haven't seen anything from Cisco about it yet though if its in future releases
