Hey everyone,

CISCO 3750G-PS

I have 6 switches in a redundant stack topology, a master switch and 5 slaves, on the switches there are configured  A Voice VLAN and 3 DATA VLANS, The VOICE VLAN has 150 phones on the POE ports spread across the stack.I come along with a Non compliant IOS and Feature set and put it in the stack ., no problems for 3 weeks then  The phones get their ip addresses from a pool configured on the switch and is on a 159.x.x.x subnet and the PC's are configured to get their ip addresses from a Windows AD DHCP pool but the IP phones are taking the ip addresses from the AD pool and not the switch DHCP pool. The access list 99 is configured to allow hosts on the 158 and 158 subnet in and out , the DHCP excluded address range has been deleted and readded but the ip phones still continue to lift the addresss of the AD server and by pass the DHCP pool on the Master, ANY IDEAS??

Maybe the DHCP lease time is too long?

What make and model of the VoIP phone are they?  Can you engage the Manufacturer ID so you can enable the"Options" of the DHCP?
