Starting to configure on this design. Need help and suggestions.

Hi if somebody can help on the design am trying to setup it would be gr8!!

In this I am trying to achive redundant connectivity .

1. HSRP at 2851 tracking mpls connectivity which will be ethernet interface --->challenge one

2.for example lets take the extreme right vlan 100. All servers here would use what as gateway ? can I use 3750 or the firewall for the redundancy to work properly

In that case what if the 3750 on the right losses connectivity ?how can I plan this ???

Hello Balaji,

object tracking should help in keeping in sync HSRP at the border routers and at the C3750 core L3 switches.

you may need to define the object tracking in different ways in the devices but you should be able to do this.

You can use tracking of multiple objects to decide what to do.

for example on C3750_x:

you can track L3 interface to ASA

AND

mpls link on 2851_x.

Edit:

note that from C3750 point of view they just need to send traffic to ASA in any case.

So it may be enough to trace L3 interface to ASA.
