static route with OSPF into too many routers ??

Hello Dear

i have configured 2 different area using OSPF

both area are configured as area 0

first the two areas where not connected together.

but the next step now is to connect the two areas together using static route. ( 2 routers in the first area should talk to 4 routers in the second area)

i did all the configuration found on the net and the ping is working well in one case only: when all static routes are turned on..but this is not the case i want.

i want that whatever happen to these links the ping between the end users still working

can anyone help to solve this issue please..

i have been working with it for 3 months :(

Hi,

Way are you connecting 2 area 0s together with static routes?  Just connect them together using OSPF. It will all become one area 0.
