Static Routing on WS-C2960G-48TC-L

Hello,

Does anyone know if the cisco WS-C2960G-48TC-L switch support static routing in newer IOS version than "c2960-lanbase-mz.122-25"  ?

The one I have is running on c2960-lanbase-mz.122-25 image. And it doesn't seem to support static routing or more than 2 SVI.

Any ideas?

Hi,

The 2960G is a layer-2 switch and that is the reason for not being able to create multiple SVI.  With this type of switch, you usually create one SVI and an ip default-gateway command , which is for management.

I understand that. But I've read that with IOS 12.2(55) and later up to 16 static routes are supported. So I would like to know if anyone here knows if multiple SVIs are also supported.
