Hello,
On my main Cisco Cisco is configure stormcontrol. I have this command :
errdisable recovery cause storm-control
errdisable recovery interval 400
and on each ports, i have :
storm-control broadcast level 1.00
storm-control multicast level 10.00
Do you think it is really a good idea to have storm-control on each ports like this ? it is necessary ? not necessary ? can i have trouble with that ?
thanks

these setting is different between SW to SW and from site to site depend on how much traffic is pass through the port.
so as start this value is good

- Personally I don't like it because it can block the path to finding the 'immediate source' ; if used then configure it on uplinks only ;
I would not use errdisable recovery interval ; instead determine the cause if it happens , (or use a larger recovery interval such as 30mins) to make room for diagnostics (e.g.)
