STP and Trunking - Packet Tracer

Hi,

I have a packet tracer full mash layer 2 topology configured with trunking ports for 2 vlans in all the links except the one connected to the clients (obviously). I am wandering if this kind of configuration can alter the configuration of the STP since I can see all the traffic flowing from all the links.

Regards

Moise

Hi @moiseM2 ,

I have recreated what you mentioned and STP blocked the ports to avoid layer 2 loops.
Sometimes PacketTracer does not behave as it should.
I suggest you save the exercise, close it and reopen it.
This, sometimes, solves these problems.

Hi @luis_cordova,
thanks for getting back that quickly.

My question was more for a matter of understanding if it was an expected behaviour in a real network, so your reply suggest it is not.

Thanks for your help.
