STP error ( Invalid IP address)

If I am facing STP error(Invalid IP address) in my large structured Switching environment will I receive log in Core switch or affected switch?

P.S - I don't have full topology in my hand that's why I couldn't find whether it is core switch or affected switch.

The logs you will be mostly getting on the root switch in your network which should be the core switch. Following link may help you
