Hi frnd,

I have one question in stp, if i have two switches and both switches are same priority and same mac-address for both switches then who will make route bridge.

Hello

The Bridge ID priority defaults to 32768 and if both switches are equal then the lowest mac address of the 2 switch will be elected the root.

FYI -The two switches should not have the same mac- address , as each mac- address should be unique.
