Hi, how can a switch in a stack cause a topology change ?

Hi Dominic,
As you said that switches are in stack, they themselves elect a stack master and which is used for further topology election.
When u change any switch in stack or a switch boots the election process starts to elect the stack master. which causes the toplogy change.

No new switch were added to the stack and every access port is in portfast/bpduguard.
