Hi,
The below is outout from one of my acess switch,does this tel " STP is disabled" on this switch. if not why it is not participating in STP.

helpful info,
1.Cisco Three Layer Archtecture
2.Sh port shows connections to each DE switch is in forwarding stage
3.Other switches are fine with STP

It looks as if the switch is not processing this vlan.
Did you alter the native vlan on this switch or perhaps on the entire network?
Did you verify that vlan1 is enabled on the network?

We have one VLAN/Switch so as you said VLAN 1 is no more active and I should have given "sh spantree 132"(my vlan number) instead sh spantree.

Hello Arun,
your 6500 is running rapid-PVST+, what about your other switches ? Can you post the output of one of the switches that do have a valid output when you issue the 'show spantree' or 'show spanning-tree vlan 1' command ?
