SUP 720 E going in RPR mode

Recently we installed a new Supervisor module in our 4507 R+E chassis. After inserting the module and typing the command copy bootflash: slavebootflash both the modules went to RPR mode, with one module status showing as Active and other new one showing as Standby cold?

While in all of our other 4507 switches, both are in SSO active-standby hot mode.

How to bring this new module and chassis to the same SSO active-standby hot mode?

Could you give me the output of show module and show version?

Hi Inayath, I want to know what steps should I take after I install a new supervisor module in cisco 4507 R+ E chassis. I want both supervisors in SSO mode with one being in Active mode and other one being in standby cold mode.

Can you please elaborate step by step procedure after installing the brand new SUP into the chassis. you know like what precautions should I take, which commands to use etc.

Please check the attached file for your reference.
