Sup card

i have this switch at core with Sup card (  Supervisor Engine 720 (Active)         WS-SUP720-3B  ) which is  End of life, can someone please let me know to which sup card i should upgrade it or do we replace the whole switch with any other model.

should i be using VS-S720-10G-3C to replace existing card ?

cisco WS-C6506-E (R7000) processor (revision 1.1)

Talk to your SE/AM. The supervisor card is the least of your worries. Cisco has announced the EoS for the entire line of the 6500: From supervisor cards to line cards and chassis. (If not yet announced, then it will be shortly.)
It's better to consider upgrading the 6500 to something more recent.

The VS-S720 is the follow-on to the sup720, and should have more life, and it's also likely the most compatible with your other existing 6500 chassis cards, but as Leo suggests, at this time, you probably should look at something even newer, either in the Catalyst 6800 series or the Catalyst 9K series.
