Hello, I have a switch 2960G 48 GBit. I had the switch connected to the COMCAST modem. for not known reason that connection failed. the led in the port was off. I connected my laptop to the port and it worked fine. I tried to connect the COMCAST modem to another port and it happened again. te LED was off. I connected my laptop to the port in the COMCAST modem and it work fine. The solution i found was connect the switch to another switch and then connect the COMCAST modem to the new switch. The modem worked fine connected to the new switch. I think it should be something about the MAC address but I am not sure why or what exactly is. Anybody can help me with that?
