Switch connected to Router cannot ping Internet

Hello all,

I have an ASA 5512-X set up. It received a DHCP address from our ISP and it can ping the internet (8.8.8.8) just fine. I attached a switch to the Inside port on the router, but it CANNOT ping the internet (8.8.8.8). The router can ping the switch's attached interface, the vlans I have set up and clients on those vlans. The switch can ping the vlans and the clients and it can ping the directly attached router. When I attach a machine directly to the router, it can get to the internet just fine. I'm attaching the router and switch configuration. What am I missing here?

Ok great, but please try from a computer.

My bad! I can now ping 8.8.8.8 and google's IP but the computer cannot display the webpage, even if I go to Google's IP rather than its DNS name (since I don't have a DNS server on this testing environment).

Try to configure the following dns on your PC

8.8.8.8 and 4.2.2.2

Well, I feel dumb. Yes, that worked. The switch still can't ping 8.8.8.8, but the client can get out to the Internet.

No worries my friend.

You can also add the Switch's IP on the object-group to be able to ping.
