Where in Cisco documentation is how to read a small switch
Front panel MODE button display on the LEDs
Looking at a catalyst 2950
.
I’m checking on a switch I do NOT have login access, want to just read the MODE UTIL bar graph correctly
Looking for a cause of slow response between a router our organization owns and a switch a customer owns
Is the bar graph linear or logarithmic?
if the green LED's are showing a constant level or 14 out of 24 and jumps up to 16 out of 24
What Utilization is that?
And the amber LED's are at 24 out of 24 , that is 100% utilization
Is it a 100% spike reached some time since power up?
Or 100% spike reached in the last hour?

Hi Marty,
Hopefully the following can answer your question as it relates to the particular model within the 2950 series family.
start looking at around page 1-13 of the attached install guide.
regards Dave
