I have a 3750x switch stack of three switches.
One of the switches has reset 2 times and rejoined the stack.
Everything appears to be working fine except that every port light is flashing green light.
No one touched mode button.
Is this a warning of some kind?

Hey John,
Log in both the boxes and check if you have crashinfo file in the flash. Use the command "session <switch_number>" to session to respective switches. By default console resides with master so use the "show switch" command to check the switch numbers.

Post the complete output to the command "sh version" and "sh switch details". Highlight which one is the second switch in the command "sh switch details".

The people at the site say there have been no power surges but I agree that is seems like power is the problem.
Switch 2 is the master now so I cannot do a session 2.
switch 1 was the original master and it has only been up for 5 days.

Error message says the your stacking cable could either be faulty or is not cabled properly.

And the cable that connects switch 2 to switch 3 is the one in question.
I have discovered that there is one power supply per switch and they say there is no power management cables to share power accross the stack.
When you buy a 3560X/3750X, a each box comes with a power stack cable. The cable should be installed as recommended.

Where is the orange/amber light observed? The switch port? The NAS diagnostics port?

I'll have the site people check to insure the stackwise cables are secure.

the flashing amber lights on all our NAS devices is concerning. Our server team says that the NAS backup system is working perfectly.
We just don't understand why the amber lights are resticted to just the ports that are connected to a NAS.
any ideas?

Ok, 3750X comes with modular power. These power can be accidentally ejected or come loose.
Can someone please eyeball the power supply and the power cable and ensure all components are secure.
