hello community, I need help in this topology.

network topology.

# Switch / 1000 CISCO - SG300 28P - SW CORE

# Switch / 1000 CISCO - SG300 28P - SW DISTRIBUTION

# Switch / 100 CISCO - SF300 28P - SW ACCESS PRODUCTION

# Switch 3com / 1000 8P - SW ACCESS CAD

# HP switch / 16P 100 - SW ACCESS ADMIN

# HP / 100 switch 16P - SW DIR ACCESS

VLAN1 - IT - 192.168.1.0/24
VLAN2 - PRODUCTION - 192.168.2.0/24
VLAN3 - CAD - 192.168.3.0/24
VLAN4 - ADMIN - 192.168.4.0/24
VLAN5 - DIR - 192.168.5.0/24
VLAN6 - MEETING - 192.168.6.0/24
VLAN7 - SERVICE - 192.168.7.0/24
VLAN8 - CONNECTIVITY ASSETS - 192.168.8.0/24
VLAN9 - PRINTERS - 192.168.9.0/24
VLAN10 - SERVERS - 192.168.10.0/24
VLAN11 - DVR CAMERA - 192.168.11.0/24

my intention is to make up the subnets communicate to achieve the server, also i would to enable relay dhcp to receive the ip from the server that is at the swcore.

Doubts;

- Where i set ips interfaces? sw-core or sw-distr? or both?

- What are the steps to make this scopo to work?

- I could not enable spanning tree in this sw model.

Thank you so much,

Hi Elisamotta,

Is this requirement you are going to design and implement from scratch.

Normal design recommendation states with legacy architecture is to have three tier architecture with core having fast routing process , Distribution having policy based switching and Access layer with end compute connectivity.

So with best practices distribution devices should be having all SVI and routing connectivity with core layer to external world.

Hope that Helps..
