Hello,

What is the switch port configuration for connecting cisco wan router 2911 to forward both data voice traffic

I assume that you are using different VLANs for data and for voice, and you want to forward both data and voice through the WAN router. In that case, the port mode of the switch toward the router would be a simple trunk - switchport mode trunk. The router itself would need to be configured with subinterfaces for both data and voice VLAN.

Also i have cucme 2901 router locally on srst mode connected to same switch.please advice switch port configuration fot it also.

If your 2901 running CUCME is only supposed to handle voice traffic and does not need to handle the data traffic, then you could have the switch port toward the 2901 configured as a simple access port in the voice VLAN. The 2901 would not be configured with subinterfaces; the IP address would be configured directly on the physical interface without mentioning any VLANs.

If the 2901 is supposed to handle both data and voice traffic then the situation would be exactly the same as with the WAN router - the switch would be configured with a trunk port toward the 2901, and the 2901 would be configured with subinterfaces for both data and voice VLANs.

Please feel welcome to ask further!

Best regards,
Peter
