Hi, i have a cisco 2960-L switch and i want to limit the interface-speed set to max 2mbps. (traffic from the switch to the host)
I have set the portspeed already to 10mbps. But as i said i want the downstream to limited to 2mbps for all traffic.
What is de best way?

Without research, I'm unsure what the 2960-L supports.
You might be able to enable QoS, direct all traffic to a shaped egress queue set for 2 Mbps. Or, you might use the port shaping command, but as I noted in another thread, that's not exact and you may need to reduce the "speed" of the port.
