switch port - stable amber in color

hi, i have a switch 2924-XL and one of its port shows line protocol up but ite LED color is amber stable and the same port is access through a vlan but the connectivity cannot be established whereas if i used 2950 with same senerio it works, is there any solution for this.

If the port LED glowing in AMPER color it means Port is not forwarding. Port was disabled by management or an address violation or was blocked by Spanning Tree Protocol (STP).
