Hi,
I got an SF300-48 cisco switch, got an Ethernet going in from my router with other Ethernet cables e.g. my server.
After around 23 days upkeep, it randomly stop providing out Internet although lights was still flashing. I plugged my laptop into this cable from the router was fine. Although i plugged an Ethernet cable from the switch to my laptop came up as 'Unidentified Network - No Internet', soon as i rebooted my switch it seems to be fine again.
Is there a way to see why this was caused? & Is this a sign of the switch dying?
Thanks
Jord

Hi,
You may want to open a ticket with Cisco TAC on this to investigate the issue further. There may be a bug in the OS you are running and not so much a hardware issue. A software upgrade could fix the issue.

How would I do this? I'm on the latest version of firmware & boot firmware for this SF300-48.

If you are on the latest version, you may have to downgrade a version or sub-version. I recommend you talk to support before doing that, as they may have a recommendation or a different solution. Also, before upgrading or downgrading, make sure to read the release notes very carefully.
