Hello Everyone,
I am wondering if you could help me with an issue I am having for a client. Ok, so this client has a new 6500 fully created with VLAN's and the goal is to move clients over one at a time. I have configured the 6500 fully from start to finish along with a 4500 as the access/distlayer device. The problem is one of the group of servers I need to move over is not on a vlan, and I have the new network that it is moving to already configured on a VLAN. See the diagram attached. These devices are all located in the same Datcenter and going out to completely different internet circuits. I need to have communication locally between the old network and the new network, is there any way I can get traffic that doesn't orginate from a vlan to communicate with a network that is in a vlan. Thank You so much in advance for your help.

Hi John,
provide your policy allows you to do this and theses 2 scenarios are located in the same data center and you want the 2 servers on the left side to talk to the servers on the right side, you can physically connected the 2 servers on the left to the 4500 access switch and add them to the same vlan as the right side. In this case all 4 servers will be in the same vlan.

Hello Reza,
Thank you for the quick response. Connecting the two old servers into the 4500 in a spearate VLAN for their secondary NIC sounds like a good idea. I will try this Thank You very much Reza!
