If i upgrade firmware in my Cisco switch then it will effect my current configuration and change my IOS version ?

Updating IOS should not effect your configuration.

I am not sure what type of device you have, but to download updates you need a valid service contract with Cisco.

What do you mean by firmware? The boot ROM?
If so, that usually has no impact on your current configuration nor the IOS version. Boot ROM and/or ROMMON have their own versions.
