Will switching to SSO redundancy from rpr-plus cause any issues/downtime or anything of that sort.

Hello Stuart,

I think it is better to ask for a maintanance window for safety.

Hope to help

I actually performed this same task just this week. We were able to switch the redundancy mode without any downtime. It does cause the standby supervisor to reboot, but other than that, you should be okay.

We did have a problem where the standby supervisor wouldn't boot after we made the change. Upon consoling we found that the backup supervisor was unable to read the flash disk to pull the IOS image from it. We formatted the card and put the image back on, and it booted fine. I don't believe this was related to our change from RPR+ to SSO though.

Best of luck!
