Hi guys,,
I got a situation,,
I am logged in to one of our switches via telnet via putty.
we have a tacacs+ configuration and switch is lcoated at the remote site.
Due to some misconfiguration we ended up removing the aaa new-model command.
and now we are not able to login...
what are the options we got to get back in to the switch?.

Hi,
Do you have SNMP access to the switch? If so you could try to load the configuration with the AAA configuration using that method. The process is explained in How To Copy Configurations To and From Cisco Devices Using SNMP.

Was there a local username and password set? As Steve queried, do you have SNMP Read Write access?
Do you have a backup of the config so you can see if any of these access methods are available.
If configuration changes were not saved, you could always get someone to reload the switch...
Hope this helps
