We have received the following error on one of our Cat2980 switches:
" 1/Tag 0 on packet from 00:02:8a:4f:b7:cd port 2/5, but port's native vlan is 112 "
The 2/5 port indeed belongs to the 112 Vlan. The Cisco SE claims that tagged packets are being received from the workstation (the NIC is Intel Pro 100) attached to the 2/5 port. To us, it looks as if the switch is tagging a packet with a wrong Vlan.
Has anybode seen this error message and could shed the light on it?
Thanks.

00:02:8a:4f:b7:cd - Is that the correct mac-address of the PC with Intel Pro 100 nic ? Can you paste configs of switch port 2/5 ?

It's the correct MAC address. The switch is running CatOS - ver 6.3(10). The 2/5 is defined as an access port and using portfast for faster STP convergence.
Thanks.
