Hello experts,
We have a user with some performance issues, and he believes there is something related with TCP optimization enabled on Nexus switch that is degrading the performance due to some previous experience. Just want to confirm if Nexus has such a TCP optimization feature, or if you have any idea about any feature enable on a Nexus that can affect traffic. We have been checking but there is no such thing and only thing we found regarding TCP optimization was related with SDWAN on cisco Routers.Switching, TCP optimization
Thanks in advance.

For transit TCP traffic or for TCP traffic to/from the Nexus device itself?

Is for traffic passing through the Nexus, coming from an internal device to the cloud.

In that case, about the only optimization(s) you might get into is congestion/drop management, which a Nexus might be weaker, feature wise, than an IOS kind of router.
Otherwise, a common Nexus approach is having sufficient bandwidth so that congestion/oversubscription isn't a problem, which may be difficult to a (WAN?) cloud hand-off.
@MHM Cisco World already noted that a good thing to check is drop counts. But, if a cloud's interior bandwidth is less than what a Nexus pushes into it, you can have drops in the cloud not visible to the Nexus. Again, Nexus mitigation options would like be weak.

the TCP traffic is pass through NSK so you need to check output drop count if you have issue in some service

if it was related to the switch, it will effect more than one user, are you sure its single user effected or multiple users ?
