Hi all,

I have 7 x Cisco WS-C3750-24PS-P switches stacked in a cabinet. How do I calculate the overall temperature / heat output coming from the cabinet?

Thanks

Kind Regards

Dean

Hi Julio,

Thanks for replying and your help.

We are fitting new air conditioning and the air con company have asked what is the overall / total heat output from each cabinet.

So each switch is generating heat and we have 7 x cisco 3570 24-port switches in each cabinet.

How do we get the overall / total heat output from each cabinet?

Thanks

Kind Regards

Dean

I recall (?) datasheets sometimes show BTU generated (for max load?). If you find/take that value and multiply by seven, you should have a BTU rating.

Hi Joseph,

Great, thanks I found it.

Description Specification

Power Supply Rated Maximum 3750-24PS 495W 426 BTU/hour
