Temperature readings and threshold

Hi, i have a few questions on temperature readings:

Cisco IOS Software, IOS-XE Software, Catalyst 4500 L3 Switch Software (cat4500e-UNIVERSALK9-M), Version 03.04.00.SG RELEASE SOFTWARE (fc3)

I see the following interesting readings, the first one is that i get a warning of a reading under the 1st threshold.

I see this on a lot of 4500's in the field, i assume its a cosmetic bug, i could not find anything in the buglist concerning this platform, i did see a few bugs on the cat6500 platform. And yes.. the room is on the warm side.

Could this be a rounding down issue?

Module Sensor                     Temperature          Status

------+--------------------------+--------------------+------------

1      air inlet                  44C (45C,60C,70C)         warning

1      air outlet                 42C (61C,76C,86C)              ok

2      air inlet                  44C (45C,60C,70C)         warning

2      air outlet                 42C (61C,76C,86C)              ok

2nd, why is the outlet temp cooler than the inlet temp.

------+--------------------------+--------------------+------------

1      air inlet                  25C (45C,60C,70C)              ok

1      air outlet                 23C (61C,76C,86C)              ok

2      air inlet                  22C (45C,60C,70C)              ok

2      air outlet                 21C (61C,76C,86C)              ok

Another switch.

1      air inlet                  29C (45C,60C,70C)              ok

1      air outlet                 28C (61C,76C,86C)              ok

2      air inlet                  29C (45C,60C,70C)              ok

2      air outlet                 27C (61C,76C,86C)              ok

Anyone any ideas?

Thanks.

With regards,

Thijn
