Good evening,
I have a Cisco 2960 POE switch, on which I connected a Cisco 1261N Access Point, but I found that often the access point restarts itself. I would like your assistance, to help me know the reasons. At first, I thought an update, but I found that it restarted again this morning.

Hi,
It seems to be a hardware issue since software upgrade did not fix it.
RMA the access point back to Cisco for replacement.

Hi,
I faced the same issue with Cisco Ip phones and access points. We found the issue with Cat6 Cable (IO Box). My suggestion that please use a standard Cat 6 A cable and connect directly to the switch port. I hope this will helpful if there is no device hardware issue.
