I have got some strange experience when I install the C6509.
I configured the boorvar like following.
boot system flash sup-bootdisk: *.bin
boot system flash disk0: *.bin
* means the IOS name, I'm not typed like * :)
If I configured above, The first boot is sup-bootdisk and next is disk0. So I wrote to nvram. before re-booting the bootvar indicated as first is sup-bootdisk and next is disk0:
After checking the bootvar and I tried to reload the chassis.
After finishing the booting, I check up the bootvar, but I can't understand the bootvar.
Definitly, I saved the nvram. However the bootvar is indicated disk0:, and then sup-bootdisk. the configuration saved before reload didn't saved to nvram.
the configuration register is 0x2102 :)
Anyone thought about this?
