Transition Networks' SFP and X2

Has anyone ever tried a "Cisco-compatible" SFP 1-Gbps or X2 10-Gbps module from Transition Networks? I can save a lot of money if I buy these rather than Cisco-made SFP and X2 modules. I'd be putting them in 3750-X and WS-X6716G-10G-3C, respectively.

And no, I'm not planning to plug the 1-Gbps SFP's into 10-Gbps X2 modules!

Thanks,

Matt

Only suggestion is this is not TAC supported and if you have issue with the switch TAC will ask you to remove those SFPs before they will troubleshoot the switch for you.

Use of non-Cisco badged SFP will cause the ports into "error-disable".

I'm not going to add any further than this.
