Hello. I am currently using two cisco Integrated Services Routers to set up communication between two networks. I was unable to push any traffic through the FE 1/1-7 ports so I put a static ip on my fa 0/1. I plug a dummy switch into the 0/1 on ISR 1 and I can ping the transport on ISR 2 from one of the hosts on that dummy switch. I have setup a trunk from 0/4 on the router to 1/8 on the switch. My sh commands confirm that the trunk is up. I ran cdp. Still no traffic. I cannot even ping the 0/0 from the 1/1.
The M3-SE3 which contains a Cisco® 5915 Embedded Services Router (ESR) and ESS 2020 switch cisco version 15.2.
