Dear Cisco Community,

hope this message finds you well.

I have one network scenario in my lab,

Router 1: 10.100.30.5/24, Router 2: 10.30.60.1/24

Cisco Switch with following VLAN's:

VLAN 2:192.168.2.1/24, VLAN 3:192.168.3.1/24

Computer and other peripherals are in VLAN 2.

how pc's and other peripherals can connect internet. And is it possible to use two routers at same time for backup plan.

There are different ways to depends on the requirement.

1.Are you looking to split the load between ISP

2. active standby ( ISP1 active if that fais the traffic will move to ISP2)

best is always use both the links for financial justification rather just leaving alone idle.

by saying that suggestion, you need to split the load ISP1 and ISP2 , that is VLAN2 will go to ISP 1 and VLAN 3 go to ISP2

in case ISP1 down, VLAN2 and VLAN3 traffic go via ISP2 (bear in mind when this happends VLAN NAT reset have small reset in the connection path) - same way when you ISP2 down, Lan3 have same effect.

I am not able to find the test i have done this same setup at this stage, its in my archieve some where (i will post when i find it)

For now here is some example guides and lab people already done and blog the steps to achieve this.

friend
only make SW as L3 SW with ip routing command, then config defualt rout to router you want to access internet
in router config static route toward SW for each VLAN in SW
in router config NAT overload for access internet.

for backup
in SW config two defualt route one with high AD (backup)

that what you need.
