Two uplinks in core switch

Hi Expert Team,

i had two uplink from location_1 core switch to location_2 core switch. And i want to configure these two like if one uplink goes down then other one is Auto up. Is this possible ? means i want to set up a high availability or failover configuration between my core switches at Location_1 and Location_2, so that if one uplink goes down, the other one automatically takes over.

Hello!

Best would be to setup a LACP configuration - portchannel. In this way both links will be up all the time. Another option is STP with RSTP. Or the last option in my opinion is REP (Resilient Ethernet Protocol).

IF you have any more questions ask.

I suggest...configure a  port-channel with  LCAP and enable appropriate load balancing method...

Best regards
