UDP port access test from Windows 7

Hi,

I'm unable to found a proper tool to test the UDP port access from Windows 7 machine. I've tried with "Portqry", but is giving "LISTENING or FILTERED" status. It looks confusing. Please let me know if you know any tool to test the UDP port access from Windows 7. Thanks in advance.

I don't know if there is any other tool than portqry to test UDP.

UDP is not reliable transportation protocol. ie, it will not acknowledge the packet that you are sending towards that port, unlike TCP. TCP however have a 3-way handshake and packet acknowledgement system. That is how we are able to test the TCP ports.

Hence its difficult to determine if a machine is listening on a specific UDP port.
