Unable to ping from user side

Hi Guys,

I have 5 swicth 2960 and running PVST.

All swicth can ping each other.But my 3rd switch with mangemnt ip 10.X.X.228 cant ping from user side.It can ping after some times.No issues

to ping another swicth.

10.X.X.228 can ping to its neighbour, 10.X.X.227 and 10.X.X.229.

But sometimes from 10.X.X.230,i cant ping and result user cant ping the switch.

All swicth are connected using SFP Module.

Now i CAN ping the 10.X.X.228 , and put continous ping from PC.If i terminate the ping,soon i will not be able to ping back and will takes time to able to communicate.

Is it sommeting wrong with my SFP module or fiber ?

I would check arp entries on your pc to ensure layer2 looks good. No other device on the network responding to your arp requests and stuff like that. Check the logs on the switches as well, for STP issues.
