I have a 2960g on code version 12.2(25) and an interface that is reporting a lot of undersize packets. The server that is cabled to the switch is configured as a trunk port so I believe that to be the reason. Does anyone know the behavior of the switchport when it receives an undersized packet? I can't seem to find anything about this, but I believe it will forward the packet and not drop it. Thanks!

Have you checked the cable, NIC and also speed/duplex on both the switch and the server?

Yes I have checked them with the exception of the cable. I do not believe it is the cables unless we somehow ended up with 2 bad cables for the same server, which wouldn't be that hard to believe. Do you know what the switch does with undersize packets, discard or forward them normally?
