Good day.
I have a set of three 3750x switches. I need to update the version. While trying to copy the .bin file from one to usb, to transfer to the others, I somehow wiped out all the .bin files. (this doens't make sense to me!) I finally got a .bin file, with the updated version. BUT in ronmon I type
copy usbflash0:c3750-ipbasek9-mz.122-55.SE10.bin flash:c3750-ipbasek9-mz.122-55.SE10.bin
And it just hangs! the switch becomes non-responsive.
The same thing happens when i type
switch: boot usbflash0:c3750-ipbasek9-mz.122-55.SE10.bin
For the record: I only have the SE10.bin fileon the USB, so there shouldn't be conflict with the files. So, I'm beyond my knowledge base, and experience. And I cannot get these things to cooperate. Any ideas why this hang up would happen? And what I can do to fix this?
Also, What does this particular error really mean:
ERR: ERRor in do_atl_int().
ERR: IN dw0: 900000a8 dw1: 08240000 dw2: 00800100 dw3: 00000043 dw4: 00000000 dw5: 00000000 dw6: 00000000 dw7: 00000000
ERR: usbd_bulk_transfer fail status 2
Doing a search doesn't turn up much and I am getting this when I boot up with the USB drive in the switch. And I get that trying to dir usbflash0:
Thanks for any assistance.
Jenn

hi,
did you try to reboot the switch a few of times to get past the POST?
how about trying another USB flash drive (FAT16).

I eventually did get another USB drive. That seemed to help with the hanging issues when copying and even booting from the usbflash. I went back through the hardware documentation after I got my switched fixed and found that the switch's limit seems to be 1GB. I think the one I was using was much larger. So perhaps that was part of my issue.
I rebooted it several times. I am not sure it was getting past post at one point but it did throw me into Ronmon.
Thank you!
