Hey guys.
We have found two devices that have older versions of IOS, I am pretty sure the upgrade path should be fine - Couldn't see anything to contradict this.
IPBase WS-C3750X-24T-S current software version - 12.2(55)SE3 needs to go to Release 15.0.2-SE9(MD)
Lanbase WS-C3850-24T current software version - 03.03.00SE need to go to Release 3.6.3E(MD)
After looking through the release notes I am fairly certain it should be ok to go from 12.2(55)SE3 to 15.0.2-SE9(MD) and also from 03.03.00SE to 3.6.3E(MD)
However I have a bad feeling that this isn't 100% correct (brain probably still in holiday mode) - Could someone please confirm or advise the proper path?

Question 1:-
IPBase WS-C3750X-24T-S current software version - 12.2(55)SE3 needs to go to Release 15.0.2-SE9(MD)
Answer:- Yes I believe you will be able to go without any issue.
I went through the release notes :
Note Not all Catalyst 3750 and 3560 switches can run this release. These models are not supported in Cisco IOS Release 12.2(58)SE1 and later: WS-C3560-24TS, WS-C3560-24PS. WS-C3560-48PS, WS-C3560-48TS, WS-C3750-24PS, WS-C3750-24TS, WS-C3750-48PS, WS-C3750-48TS, WS-3750G-24T, WS-C3750G-12S, WS-C3750G-24TS, WS-C3750G-16TD. For ongoing maintenance rebuilds for these models, use Cisco IOS Release 12.2(55)SE and later (SE1, SE2, and so on).
This particular model is not listed in the note command hence there should not be any problem.
Question 2:-
=========
Lanbase WS-C3850-24T current software version - 03.03.00SE need to go to Release 3.6.3E(MD)
Answer:- Yes this is also supported.

Thank you very much InayathUlla Sharieff
I was pretty sure that it should be fine, however I will be going somewhere quite remote and really didn't want to encounter issues.
Have a good one mate. :)

Hello there!
How did the upgrade go for Cat 3750x? I just tried to upgrade to 15.0.2-SE9(MD) universal from Version 12.2(55)SE3 for one of the remote chassis' and guess what? It is out of contact now. I guess the upgrade failed somewhere. The chassis has no backup image for the fallback also:(

Oops! I reacted too fast. The switch came up with new image after 40 or 50 minutes:)
I just needed a little patient there.
