Upgrade stack members separately

I'm trying to nail down this issue - is it possible to upgrade switch stack members individually, so as to minimise disruption.

eg.

upload software

set boot statements

reload switch 2

when switch 2 is up, reload switch 1

The upgrade guide assumes that you are upgrading the whole stack in one go, but is there anyway to force otherwise? I'm not sure there is, but it would be nice to be surprised!

It is my understanding that unless you want to take a switch out of the stack there is not a way to upgrade single switches within the stack.

Remember, the entire stack is controlled by the Stack Master. So even if you upgrade the software on a stack member and reboot, it will not take effect unless that member becomes the master.
