Hi folks, I have 2 switches C6824-X-LE-40G running VSS on 4 x 10Gbits/s ports. I'm willing to upgrade the VSL to 2 x 40Gbits/ links.
Any way to do it without disrupting traffic? (everything is attached to this stack correctly using etherchannels dispatched on both switches.
Can I build a second VSL with the 40G ports and then remove the 10G VSL?
thanks for any procedure to do it.

Hi,
I have never done this before but in general, there should not be much traffic on the VLS links. It is mainly used for some multicast traffic and any device that is not duly connected to both chassis. So, 4 10Gig links provide plantly of bandwidth. I usually use 2 10Gig and have never seen any issues with bandwidth.
