Uplink availability of 4510R+E with dual sup8e

Hi

I'm going to implement 4510R+E with dual sup8E supervisior. This is a just L2 access switch and will have uplink to dual Nexus9300 with vPC.

If I connect 4 x 10Gbps uplinks as following and configure 4 ports as single port channel, I'm wondering if 2 x 10G ports on standby SUP will be also utilised and get 40Gbps speed in normal status?

4510 Active sup port 1, 2 to Core(N9K vPC peer primary)

4510 Standby sup port 3,4 to Core(N9K vPC peer seconday)

We are not going to use wireless stuff on the 4510.

Cheers

Alex

Hi,

Yes, that is correct.  You can create a Port-channel with 2 or 4 10Gig ports from each Sup and they all will be active.
