Uplink port and server/pc connectivity

This is a silly question and I don't have a switch to test it with but

technically is there any reason why you can't use an uplink port of a switch to connect to a server/pc (10g (sfp+,x2) or 1 gig (sfp, x2,copper)).

Can it be done on the interfaces of sup2t and other supervisors?

On a  network module of a 3750x or on a 2960S?

I know you can't use the uplinks on a nexus 2k.

Thanks

Feisal

This is not issue with 3750 or 2960 series.  You can connect any port  (copper, fiber) to a server, PC etc..

There is no restriction here.  You can do the same for Sup 2T interface (1 or 10Gig).
