Hi,
I am sorry I didnt get the exact message but I am hoping someone can help.
We have two nexus 3548s we are deploying and have 4 GLC-T SFPs
I plugged them in to ports Eth1/1 and Eth1/2 on both switches.
When the links didnt come up I did a sho int status and I dont remember exactly what it said but it was something like
sfpUnsupported or sfpInvalid or sfpUnknow. I dont remember the exact term.
Any thoughts?
I thought I would see the errors in the logs but alas.. no.

Hi,
Looking at this link:-
http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/switches/datacenter/nexus3000/hw/installation/guide/nexus3000_hardware_install_guide_book/overview.html#wp1083050
The GLC-T is supported on your 3548 - Are your GLC-T genuine cisco parts

They are supposed to be genuine cisco parts.
Bought from a certified cisco reseller.. they are labled cisco parts
PN 30.-1410-03
each has a unique SN and QR code

Hi,
As Alex also noted, you usally get that message when you purchase the optics from a none Cisco certified parter/reseler or from Cisco directly. It also may help if you set the speed under these interfaces.

Hello,
Configure the interface speed to 1000 on Eth1/1 and Eth1/2 and it should resolve the issue.
