using public ip addresses on dsl router

Hi all if I have been assigned 5 public ip addresses to my dsl router but want the ethernet interface to be on one of them, would I put the ethernet interface on one of the public ip addresses and then use ip unnumbered for the dialler interface, is this like bridging the connection ?

can you confirm whether the ips have been assigned and routed properly at SP end ?

Also can you post the config out here ?

Generally you will get the ip assigned either dynamically or assigned statically from the SP WAN pool.

is that not the case with your setup ?
